“No Pain, No Gain” APC Tell Nigerians

The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday, assured Nigerians that despite the current hardship, “there will be light at the end of the tunnel as there can be no gains without pains”.

APC through its National Publicity Secretary, Malam Bolaji Abdullahi, also pleaded to Nigerians to continue to support and believe the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration, and remain steadfast in the face of the present economic challenges.

It gave assurance that government would continue to roll out undesirable measures to cushion the negative effect of the recession, stating that government would continue to work hard to reposition the economy.

It hailed the conduct and standards displayed by security and other agencies, particularly the Nigeria Police Force, during last Monday’s protest marches by members of some civil society groups, and celebrities for and against the government.

The APC urged the security agencies to continue to stick to the optimal standards of professionalism while discharging their duties of protecting the lives and properties of citizens.

“As we stated earlier, the freedom to protest peacefully is a democratic right and the APC will continue to defend the rights of Nigerians to express their democratic rights no matter how they choose to, within the areas of the law,” the party added.

In one accord, the All Progressive Congress further pleaded with all Nigerians to always belive and keep on praying for the party, because as it has been said, God is the giver of wisdom and ability, imputed into our little efforts as humans, to lift up the country from it present economic condition.

The meeting was sealed up by special prayers made, on behalf of President Mohammadu Buhari.
