Senate Urges Buhari Government Not To Abandon Past Leaders Policies.

On Monday, the Senate urges President Mohammadu Buhari's government not to forsake the likes (working parameters) of the previous leaders that did contribute in moving Nigeria to this stage of development. Leaders like Olusegun Obasanjo, Late Umaru Musa Yar'Adua and his immediate successor Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.

The warning came on hearing, during the investigation about the abandonment of N8 billion code of conduct Bureau office headquartres, conducted by the Senate Committee on the Federal Capital Territory, spear-headed by the chairman, Senator Dino Malaye.

Complain were laid concerning the increment of abandon projects by the Federal Government who initiated such projects from the beginning, in one way or the other has become a great concern by many Nigerians who see the reason and need for those already-begun project to be completed.

The chairman of the committe stated that "as soon as those contracts are been awarded are forsaken, news ones are been created by another succesive government". This is a proof to show that Government hard earned resources which could be use to execute another project will be wasted.
