The All Progressive Congress (APC) Enugu chapter recently embark on a mission to lay-down concrete reasons why the Senate Deputy President Ekweremadu needs to move  to APC; Among them, the division has increased.

The State chapter showed great interest in absolving the Ekweremadu into its rulling Party, which was reportedly stated that he will be warmly recieved.

Mrs. Kate Offor, the Party publicity secretary said on sunday gave out a controversial statement in support of the rulling party refusal in admitting the Deputy Senate into its fold, zikobuzz recall.

In the same vein, Dr. Ben Nwoye, the State chairman of the party, at the end of its leaders and stakeholders meeting in the party's secretariat, Enugu, he said that the APC did not discourage Ekweremadu from decamping. He further stated that no one will be hindered from registering as long as such individual apprecaites true democracy.

On the path of refusing, Mr. Osita Okechukwu who is among the chieftains of the party left no stone unturned by supporting what Dr. Ben said but discontinued along the line that the ruling party should not open the door wide for any democrat to walk into refuge freely, after considering his/her previous party activities, spear-headed by the individual.

"He continued by saying that brand new members are welcomed so as to separate the wheats from the chaff".
